Batasia Loop

Gangtok

Nathula Pass

The highest motorable path in the world conjoins India and China. Nathu La Pass, one of the most important Himalayan Pass is situated at a height of 14450ft above sea level on the Indo-Tibetan border. Namchi

One of the highlights of the Namchi town is the football stadium, where the Gold Cup takes place almost every year. The town also echoes the legend of the treacherous princess, who was caught and sentenced to death for poisoning one of the Chogyals. According to the local people, the foothill of Ghurpisey is haunted by her spirit. The town also preserves the stromatolite bearing Dolomite Limestone.
